Cadillac Horn ring removal

This might be a silly question to ask . But how is the horn ring on a 1952 cadillac stearingwheel held on? It's in mint shape and I don't want to wreck it.

Satanherself can probably answer this if she sees it, bet she's taken a hundred of them off. But usually, those types pushed down in the center and twisted counterclockwise, then the spring would push it off.

I don't want to see you damage it, so maybe just push the whole center down gently then twist easy. If it doesn't work, someone else on here like Satan might have better info.
