Can a 650 holley be used on 305???

I have just found a new 650 Holley for a great price, can it be tunned down for a stock 305 or should I just get a eldbrock 500-600 cfm, THANKS,DOGMAN

Yes, even better with vacuum secondaries. the secondaries won't open without the vacuum unless you throw a little screw/nut in the linkage without getting technical with diaphram springs

Holley makes several models of 650 carb. If your new holley is a vaccum secondary model it should work just fine on your 305. I don't think there is any advantage to edelbrock carb, both about the same.
