Cedar Strip Body

I have been dreaming about a cedar strip bodied roadster. Any photos/build information out there to help fuel or quel these dreams?

I have not built a cedar strip canoe but consider it within my abilities.

Try this link. It's a speedster build from one of the guys from the Northwest Vintage Speedsters. The whole body is done like a cedar strip canoe. Very cool.

There was a wood bodied roadster built in the next town over that made it to the
National roadster show a few years ago. That kind of craftsmanship is amazing to see. Never saw it since and don't know what became of it. no pix.

I might be BARK ing up the wrong tree, but didn't CHIP Foose do something in WOOD? I know a guy who lives on PLANK Rd. who has an old WOODIE.....sorry...I'm KNOT right...
