Cheap gas pedal setup?

I need a gas pedal set-up. Any suggestions on what vehicles to snag one from? I need something with a long bar. I may go check trucks at the yard. I figure they might have something good.

I saw a kool one made from an old wrench as the petal. I'm partial to spoon types, the mechanisms are easy to make or cheap to buy from Speedway or eBay.

Early ford couriers have a nice pedal setup, they have a small arced foot pad.

That's about what I've got now. - a wire tied to the carb and ran through the firewall.

I'll have to hit the junk yard I guess.

Hard to suggest a unit without knowing what the area its going into looks like.
I've got a neat Volvo unit you can have but who knows if it is anything near what you need.

I used one from a Ford Mustang on the buggy, and built my own on the Rat.
