chevy axle

I got a 46 chevy frame I reversed the top spring and the shackle seams to be out front now. Will this affect travel and such? any problems with this? thanks

i think you will be fine. those springs dont have much of an arch and as they start to go past flat to a reversed arch they will pull backwards.

thanks for your input. I was hopping it would be ok. I havent had any exp. with solid axles.
