Chevy Rear end identification help

I have a Chevy rear end but im trying to find some facts on it, what did it come from, what year is is... General Info. I searched the web but didnt find to much the Numbers of the diff are H166 370736 GM18 . Thanks guys

Any idea what yr or model of chevy it came outta? There are several types or rears depending on yr range, etc. There 7.5, 8.5, B.O.P, those are 10bolt rears. 12 bolt style. And front load style (kinda like 9") Show a pic if ya can we all might be able to tell ya just by lookin at it.

There is supposed to be numbers stamped on the right side axle tube close to the weld on the diff.
