O'right gang ,I found my next project this weekend at the shades !
A 1926or7 ford model T coup body !It's like ''toooo'' good to be true ,but is!!!
Check it out ,i was short a couple hundred and my wife actually gave me the extra to get it [i know,hard to beleive it ,but she did!?]
I need a drivers and a passengers door and a deck lid to get underway?If i cant get the doors i plane on just making them,have any of you done this before?
Anyone got any ideas were to start looking for parts???

And i finnally got to meet ''RPM'' in person ,he's a really great guy!

Great find. I had a friend who was looking for doors and I checked his out. I am pretty sure you can make them without much problem. I think a square tube frame and some sheet rolled out on a english wheel would do the trick.

What a great find and it always helps to have the little woman's blessing. Got my fingers crossed for you finding some doors or like Bonehead said, you should be able to make some easily. Keep us posted.

Unfortunately you are missing two of the rarest and priciest body panels in hot rodding. T coupe doors and decklids bring big dollars when you can find them. Body looks decent though. I had a '26 for a while and had a blast with it. Good luck...

Got started yesterday and today and got some stuff done !
Frame and rear are mocked up so far ,and will try to mock up the front so we can see what she's gona look like and what to change!she's chanled 4'' in the front and none in the back.and i z'ed the frame up 10'' for a good low stance but will still have some much needed trunkspace this time.
Be runin my usual 5- slot combo but with the 4'' front runners that i found at the shades[finally got some]
Think i'll go with the same set up that i used on my t-bucket,spring behind ,suicide style ,just as low as i can get it to be and still drive it.
I really want it to have a hard 60's style rake to it almost like it is broke in the middle.

welp,i got a lote done on the 26 coupe this week!
I think that the front looks a little longer than it should so i might try to find ways to shortin it some ?
Gonna do the tranny and motor mounts next.i definetly want more oil pan clearance this time round and going with a sag 4 speed this time !
I found a 373 gear the other day [that i did'nt know that i had,always good!!!]so i think it will do well for the coupe.
I would like to race this one a little mabie !

I still need doors though guy's and girl's so keep your eye's peeled!?.

Looks like i really needed another one dont it? I just could'nt pass on the 26 ,i allways wanted one ,,,,,but then again i always wanted a 32,41,55,,....ect.ect:
