I saw one of these sell on auction today for $975. It was missing the seat and smoke stack, pretty much needed a total restoration.

those are neat. I have a couple of old peddle cars around, don't know what to do with them, seems like the cost to fix up may cost too much, plus then they'd just look like re-production. but they are cool.

Yeah, the repops have kind of killed some of the market, like the sad face Murrays. I still love those old pedal toys. This had to be the holy grail of post war pedal toys,

I had one of those as a kid. Its one of the few toys I remember. My dad backed over it in a 4 door 62 impalla. Have I mentioned hating 4 doors?
