Finally--First drive

Rain showers all day, but drove anyway. 1940 Dodge. Slant 6 for power.

Too early to tell, still need to go through the carbs. Just had to drive it. Put 37 miles on it today. Runs too cool. Will fix that by cruise-in time Friday. Small inch motor, 3.54 gear with a tall tire--won't be a jack-rabbit.

Yes, I've heard of it. Sounds real good, but I live on the upper side of Bristol and could never make it. We do plan to check it out when we are close though. Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
