Anyone on here have a flathead with a T5 bolted to it, or access to someone who does? Looking to get a rough length from the engine mount back to the seal face of the tranny. I am a little ways off from buying a flathead but want to try to get my rear suspension set up. Or should I be mocking up engine and trans long before completing the rear?
I plan to have an engine rebuilt... so it may be 3-4 months till I have the engine, as long as funds allow type thing.
Rear suspension is a '40 axle, Model A rear sping perches welded to the axle flange (with the top mounting bolts going through the Model A perches and '40 flanges), Model T spring, and I was going to either use the stock wishbones and add another link to make a ladder bar if I can come up with a way of doing this without it looking like crap, or just make a set of ladder bars.
