Canadian Rust Bucket
Something I came across from Home Hardware a Canadian firm that puts out a free quarterly magazine promoting there line of wares and tips. The 'bench' started as a saw buck to hold limbs as you cut them to length for the woodstove. As they suggest in the article, a simple plywood top could be added making it a work bench. I was thinking a bench area more for mixing paint, working off of while doing bodywork, or disassembly of starters, alternators etc. Not to mention holding rearends or straight axles at a decent working height. I think I'll do a couple out of steel 2x2 square tube instead of wood and add the plywood top. Simple enough, and folds flat not taking up much room. Just thought I would pass it on to anyone that may find find it worth while.
