I found this junkyard just outside of Rockingham yesterday. I should have taken more pictures but I will be going back soon.

What year is this New Yorker?

I could spend hours walking around this place. The van is in surprisingly good shape just need a little work to become drivable . What year is the New Yorker? I really want that column in my next project.

Yep, that is a cool place and I too would love to walk around it. At one time I was looking for a Chevy van like that but they're all gone up here.

My buddy had a Chev van like that... he called it the 'War Pony'! It was an old cleaners delivery van that still had the bars they hung the clothes on! We'd get in back & hang on to the bars & he'd slam on the brakes & we'd go horizontal... what fun!!! I also have a '60 Chev truck for a future project! Kool stuff... thanks 4 sharing!!!

I owned a van that was very much like that one, except it had no side windows. One day a guy put a note on the windshield saying he wanted to buy it. He offered me way more than I had in it so I sold it to him. When I asked him what he was going to do with it he said "I'm an accident reconstruction specialist and we are working on a lawsuit involving that exact same make and model. We are going to cut the front end off of it and make a display we can wheel into the courtroom to show the jury !

I would grab that Chrysler speedo and dash. How cool would that be in a rod? [dr

Grab the front axle out of that G10 van.I use them.They side steer just like econolines.[dr
They also have the large finned drake drums that look just like the buick drums most people love.
Parts are inexpensive for them too.I get my stuff from rockauto.
I buy every G10 or Econoline front axle I can find near me.
