WOW! That's good stuff. We have the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival in Davenport every July - used to have a lot of bands and individuals that really played Blues (some guys actually rode the box cars to get here). Now 95% of it is more country and pop than blues.

For those old enough to remember the cold war,you have to just shake your head at the irony....i mean it's the RED ARMY CHOIR singing Sweet Home Alabama !!!! :D I just keep seeing Kruschev banging his shoe on the table at the UN shouting "we will bury you". :D

The relationship between Finland and the USSR has been a bit perplexing through the years. Some of the older people around here still call the Finlanders in northern Minnesota communists.

It is amazing to see the Red Army singing American rock and roll! Especially with the goofy Cowboys in front of them.

WB3, I had picked up from a source unremembered that the really good lead singer of the Leningrad Cowboys was no longer with them. A major loss in my opinion. I agree with you the new lead singer can't compare.

Here's one without the good singer and without the Red Army.
