Not sure of the name of this town. There was a bunch more I saw from I-40 but couldn't get to after I pulled off to Old 66. Lots of old trucks in an arroyo.
the "buried" car, according to my research, was a 1929 model a roadster that was traveling out from kansas during the dustbowl era of the '30's....
the car overheated, cracked the block and was abandoned as the family did not have any money for repairs and eventually was buried in all of the sand/wind storms so prevalent in that particular area.....
