Frame Blueprints

I am building a rat rod using a 49 Ford cab and I am finding out that building my own frame may be the cheapest method. Is there a good resource that has actual blueprints with measurements for building one from scratch or converting a frame?

Check www.wescottauto.com for some frame dimensions and designs. You might get some ideas from them you can use. Or maybe a frame drawing that you can use.

The 23 T frame has been modified and used a countless number of times if your looking for that style. If your looking for a 49 pick up frame drawing, I'm afraid I don't have anything on that one.

Building a frame isn't always the cheapest method. You may be better off buying a T-bucket frame or Model A frame and modifying it. Check out these site the prices may suprise you.
