Front Axle Width?

Building a 42 Ford fenderless truck.What width are most of you guys using for aftermarket axles?Gonna purchase a dropped I-Beam soon.

I used 48" kingpin centers.

Mine is around 46 I think. I took the more narrow choice since the back was so narrow.

Mine is 46 king pin to king pin. I could have gone with standard 48 incher, but I got a deal on two axles and they happened to be 46, which are usually used with fendered cars where you want to drop the front and get the tires to tuck up inside and clear.
