Nice interior choice!
As you can see, we were on kinda the same page with material!!

I used old tater sacks that I found in an old warehouse in town. Used on the headliner, doors and kick panels.

Tater

I got two potato sacks from my local CO-OP that I want to make some floor mats out of. Did you do anything to the edges of the burlap to keep it from coming apart? By the way , your truck is CQQL ! I had a 49 Chev PU, I really like the body style.

Couldn't you fold the edges over, use twine in a large needle and just do a simple chain stitch by hand around the perimeter?

Didn't your car make it into one of the Kustom or Rat mags recently? Cool theme!

Rebel Rods April issue in the Homegrown Rodz section. It is currently being used on the Georgia Mountain Moonshine Cruise-In website, which is coming up on August 13,14,15th. Looks like it's going to be a good show. Thanks for the visit to my build thread !!

Even when folding the edges, they still try to un-raffle. That is why I used the whole sacks on the bottom of the seat and sewed them together and on the backs, I found sacks that would slide over the backs without cutting them. I was just wondering if Tater had come up with something I had'nt thought of. I think for the floor mats, I need to slide something, mabey even some cheap floormats inside the sacks and then sew the edges with the twine ?? I have been using them the way they are for floormats, but they want to wad up ect. Thanks for the reply , I will post if I do something cool with them !!

How about post that in the Car Shows Forum? I had no idea about this show until your post. I believe I can make it up for Friday, if I don't wreck again - pic en route to Cherokee Rod Run

Thanks Bandit !! It's alot of FUN! Believe it or not , the seats are not to bad at all. If you wear a dark shirt, you may get a little burlp fuzz. I guess some burlaps could be very itchy ??

Had a buddy of mine, L-Ray, put me some new lines on the HB Unit. Turned out cool.

Heck No !! I don't have dishnetwork. The one I saw was mostly about SEMA show. I wish I knew what episode number, so I could try to catch it. How much did they show of the car ? Was it at the BORLA Exhaust plant ?
