I just got a card that the old Henry Gregor Felson book, Hot Rod, has been re-released. Cool old book, I read it when I was a kid.

Thats cool...There is a big long thread on the HAMB about it....Apparently, Felson's grand daughter (I think) is re releasing it....

i have that collection ,very nice reading for hot rodders!
I like the part were he tells the kid that he must first learn to tune the motor in stock form before moving on up to hotter parts and stuff .and at the end how he realized that the cop car was faster and safer.
My wife found that collection some years back and i had never herd of him till then ,but really injoyed the reading.

I read this when I was about 14, been looking for a copy to share with my kids. This is great news.

I read that book when I was in 6th grade (1968). I still have it.
