I moved...

sold my house and moved to this 1838 farm house on one of Netherlands most beautiful estates. I started this online photo album on flickr and try to post some nice snap shots of my house and land and the surrounding area... Hope to create a nice view of the area this way.... nature and buildings so beautiful here.
In Januari a new floor will be layed in the back half of the house where my shop will be located... 46x33' me likey...

thanks guys I`m over the moon to be able to live here. Most buildings out here
are national monuments, so piling up old cars in the orchard will most probably immediately result in some kinda official document the fun will be indoors

a couple of days a go I shot a few pics of the weirdest sunrise I`ve even seen... not sure what it`s called in English, but it looked like this;

those "sundog" rises seem to have this circle around the sun, but I guess it all works by the same ice crystals up in the sky, probably combined with different circumstances my brain can`t handle.... this particular sunrise was a big red column shooting straight up. Never seen anything like it, but it was über stunning and as usual, the pics don`t do justice to the real beauty

My guess is it was too cloudy to be able to see the rest of the ring, so all that was visible was the center part - and again, because of the clouds, not as defined.
