Hello everyone, I am back.

Had some title issues with my old Dodge, so I ended up selling it..

I just picked up a VW 4 months ago.. drove it around for a little bit, then I decided to cut into it, chopped the top 5.25", pushed beam out 8" and dropped the front 5"...

I have a soft spot for VWs. I have a '54 that hopefully gets done after my son's truck. I really like the Volksrod theme and nice job on the chop!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I would like to build a bug someday.... I wish it was easier to add a heater (safely) though. That would make a great first car for my daughters...

Welcome back. I wondered what happened to the truck. Sorry you had the troubles, but the VW looks cool. Never been much of a VW fan, but have to admit that I'd like to do a VolksRod, and have been keeping a eye open for a good start. Now thanks to your pics I even have a few ideas how the top gerts chopped on them to make them look right.
