Im thinking about sectioning my 50 international binder PU now that in nearly through my 7" chop.
I think it would be pretty easy and im wanting to see some photos of peoples section projects!

I will definatly have enough room inside the truck as ill be using basic bucket seats and i have about 7" from the top of my hesd to the roof.
Ideas?

Lets see em!
Even better, lets see the before, during and after pics.

Is there anything you would do different next time you section your rat?

Heres a photo of my cab after the chop.

have you checked your headroom?
i chopped my 53 - 6 all the way around -
and channeled it onto the frame about
4 or 5 inches - and i (5'8'') dont really
wanna be much closer to the roof lol

Your 53 international?

I dont plan on channeling any since the cab already has about a 4" channel from the factory [cl

With your 6" chop and 5" channel, that puts you right about where i would be assuming were working on similar cabs. Mine will be a 7" chop with 4" channel. My headroom looks like ill have enough left. Then again, thats why im asking. Im 5'10" and id still like to be able to sell the truck to a taller guy down the road :)

Mt dads 35 was sectioned sometime in the 50's. Not sure how much, he said maybe around 12 inches. He bought it in the early 60's sitting on a rusty 40 Ford frame with a shortened bed.
