Well I found another 1930 Buick on Craigslist last week. This will now be my third 1930 Buick, but this one is a lot more complete. It is a 60 series model 68 5 passenger coupe. The guy I got it from bought it 30 years ago to build into a street rod, but never did anything with it. The car is almost all there and has a title.

I bolted the fenders and doors on to see what it looks like

I will post up the build when I get to it. I will be taking the original motor, trans and axles out. I'll save them for when I'm an old man and want it back to original.

It's gigantic for a coupe. It has a 132" wheelbase. That's about 25" longer than my grandpas 32 ford coupe.
Plans are to rebuild the body with steel. Get rid of all the wood. I want to run the fenders. I'd like it to have a nail head and auto. I have a 57 Chevy truck axle for the front end and a couple choices of axle for the rear. I need it to have power to move all the weight I'm adding to it and stop good. It won't be too ratty, just a low, good looking full fendered coupe. I have a 30 Buick sedan that will get chopped and channeled to satisfy my hot rod needs
