Making of a 26 T Up Nort

Find a 26 T Touring cut off behind the front seat.

Get a Chevy LS 5.3 engine

Day 1 Starting Frame on the deadbroke ratrod frame table.

Day 2 More frame building

Day 3 Welded and on the floor

Day 4 Body meets the frame on the floor

Day 5 Outside for some drive shots

Driver seat

Day 6 Ready to head to Wisconsin for the remainder of the build

Oil pan change for more clearance

Front shock mounts designed (thanks to RPM for cutting)

Rear axle cleanout and new brakes

Headers built from kit and ready for Tig

start of a 90 degree brake set-up fits under the cowel

Cool build. Do you have any more pics of the front shock mounts? They look dead neat.

Not a real clear shot, I designed them with AutocadLT. I design all the parts used at the deadbroke ratrod shop for my brother. But now that is in Papillion NE and I am back north in Superior WI.

We were getting them cut with a waterjet for a while.

Headlights installed.

Over the weekend I ran the brake lines

I can shift the Auto Tranny now

and Got Belted..... er put the new belt on the engine..

Starting to see more light at the end of the tunnel.
Fitting up the engine with hoses and running needed lines. Also have the 3" extension on the exhaust to exit behind the body.
