:( Sad for Ed McMahon, don't have too many feelings for MJ. And I wonder what the eternal thoughts are for him too!!!............CR

The stance I was in reference to, I quote Uncle Teddy saying was

"I dont like repeat offenders, I like dead offenders" especially of this magnatude.....

I was told the other day that the erternal reward for a petophile that was 99% plastic was to melt him down and make lots of Walmart bags....So he would still br partially white and very dangerous for small children...

Michael certainly had some demons that he dealt with in his later years. I remember him as a young kid, stealing the show from his other family members in the Jackson 5. He was a cute kid, but man, did he get screwed up in later years.

Farrah got a little off track a while back too. I remember her on the Letterman show, and she was not there mentally at all. Drugs probably. However, she was a beautiful lady, and there weren't many young guys back then who didn't have this poster hanging in their room.

RIP to all of them, maybe they will find peace now.

Tho older,,,Gale Storm passed also. I'm sure all us older guys remember "My Little Margie"

Did you hear that MJ was paying 48,000 a month for meds, I mean WTF ?
and Did you hear what God asked Farrah? He gave her a big welcome, and told her she was an angel on earth and now that she was an Angel in Heaven she could have one wish granted ......... Farrah thought a minute. Then she said: "God, I want all the children in the world to be safe" and with that God killed MJ.

Did you hear that Steve McNair (old Titans quarterback who went to Ravens) was found dead from a gun shot to the head? He was apparently with a woman who was not his wife. She was found dead also.....

OPP. I had to stop and think about that for a second until I finally figured it out. :p Yep, either her man did it or his woman. I think they can rule out robbery! :D

Wondering about letters.

I wont go into too much details about this thread but on the days I go to the cemetery to lay flowers for my parents I cleaned the unkept graves of people from the military ( mostly WWII ) and started wondering what the letters TEC mean on there headstones..? I see TEC 5 mostly.

TEC 5 = Technician Grade 5 = Corporal

THIS WAS WRITTEN BY A SOLDIER IN IRAQ.
Okay, I need to rant.

I was just watching the news, and I caught part of a report on Michael
Jackson . As we all know, Jackson died the other day. He was an
entertainer who performed for decades. He made millions, he spent
millions, and he did a lot of things that make him a villian to many
people. I understand that his death would affect a lot of people, and
I respect those people who mourn his death, but that isn't the point
of my rant.

Why is it that when ONE man dies, the whole of America loses their
minds with grief. When a man dies whose only contribution to the
country was to ENTERTAIN people, the Amercian people find the need to
flock to a memorial in Hollywood , and even Congress sees the need to
hold a "moment of silence" for his passing?

Am I missing something here? ONE man dies, and all of a sudden he's a
freaking martyr because he entertained us for a few decades? What
about all those SOLDIERS who have died to give us freedom? All those
Soldiers who, knowing that they would be asked to fight in a war,
still raised their hands and swore to defend the Constitution and the
United States of America . Where is there moment of silence? Where
are the people flocking to their graves or memorials and mourning over
them because they made the ultimate sacrifice? Why is it when a
Soldier dies, there are more people saying "good ridence," and "thank
God for IEDs?" When did this country become so calloused to the
sacrifice of GOOD MEN and WOMEN, that they can arbitrarily blow off
thier deaths, and instead, throw themselves into mourning for a "Pop
Icon?"

I think that if they are going to hold a moment of silence IN CONGRESS
for Michael Jackson, they need to hold a moment of silence for every
service member killed in Iraq and Afghanistan . They need to PUBLICLY
recognize every life that has been lost so that the American people
can live their callous little lives in the luxory and freedom that WE,
those that are living and those that have gone on, have provided for
them. But, wait, that would take too much time, because there have
been so many willing to make that sacrifice. After all, we will never
make millions of dollars. We will never star in movies, or write hit
songs that the world will listen too. We only shed our blood, sweat
and tears so that people can enjoy what they have.

Sorry if I have offended, but I needed to say it. Feel free to pass
this along if you want.

Remember these five words the next time you think of someone who is
serving in the military;
"So that others may live..."

Only two people have ever effectively given their lives for you.

Jesus Christ and The American G.I.

One died for your sins, the other died to give you freedom.

Absolutely correct. Our loyalties are really messed up. Any more on the news the mention of our soldiers dying over there is almost treated as "oh, by the way, 6 soldiers were blown up today, now back to the news." I am so sick and tired of our young men and women heros being treated this way.

We care more about Lindsay Lowhan doing some new dumb stunt than we do about the things that really matter. :(:(
