Guys I replaced the intake gasket on my 70 nova ss and For some reason I'm having trouble getting it back in time.It has a msd distributor and i'm not to familiar with them even though it should be the same principle.I put it on compression stroke of TDC and dropped the distributor in on the #1 spot on the cap.Any ideas?????

You're probably 180° out. #1 comes around twice!

Yeah tried it both ways but I figured it out.The oil pump drive got out of time and even though I was on TDC and rotor pointing right It was not seated fully and in the oil pump slot.Got the slot turned right and it fired right up.Thanks
