this is may dads super cab 26 model t. It sits on a 84 datsun pickup frame, 300 inline ford, ford aod trany, and we put a twin i beam front suspension on it. for the record that part of the buil wasnt fun. enjoy

WHY OH WHY did you use a Twin I-beam??!? Of all the front clips.... Anyhow - it looks pretty cool. There are a couple things I might do to it, but it mine. Rear tires look kinda small. 16's would probably look good. Duals would be sick. Maybe add something under the bed sides to hide the frame - the frame looks kinda bare under there. I love the 300 I6 - killer truck motor.

Curious - I'm thinking about using a twin I for a future project. Why didn't you set it any farther forward? Was it the bracing?
 
Yes i agree the rear tires r to small but thats all we had at the time. the reason we didnt set the i beams more forward was becase of weight distrobution we fond that the ibeams need a considerable amount of weight on them to work. they dont act like a striaght axle that u can have hang out in front.
 
Cool truck ! I used Twin I Beams on my Hennway pickup, tossed the springs and used air bags, then the problem with the camber is eliminated, also you could use coilovers, there are lots of different spring rates available to tune the ride height.

Looks to be in good shape to start with so that was good. Pretty slick.. Wont be long and these will be unfindeable. RR
