My son's first truck

Not a Hot Rod to us but it's the best thing since facebook to a 14 year old boy.
1991 V8 Dakota.
He's learning to drive in this while we finish his F3

Great first vehicle. My first car was a '49 Chevy 3100 I got from my Dad. It was '67 and trucks weren't considered cool then. A year later, I bought a '55 Nomad for $500 and sold the '49 for $80. Prices sure have changed eh?

Put in a new ignition switch,changed the taillight cover and licence plate lamp,fixed the tonneau cover,cleaned it out (all with my boy's 'help') and then took it for it's insurance safety.
It's all legal so we went for a quick jaunt around the neighbourhood for an hour or so.

Hey English Bob
You know the scarey part..to me that is a "newer" truck..but to a 14 year old kid...that thing is like 6 years older than him...so to him it is a very very old truck. Funny how time flys around here...
