Hi, just found this site looking for good tech.Looks like there is lots,Awsome!I am in the process of building a '22 Dodge roadster(actually a front half of a touring}, by the way anyone know where any front doors are?
Well cheers for now!

Welcome to RRR, 22rdstrguy. Glad you found us here. You'll find that this is the most laid back rod site out there. One thing we do like here are pictures so, when you get a chance post some of that roadster.

You bet

I'll try to get some pics up on the weekend, this little bucket is going together on an "el cheapo budget" aka Donations from local friends.

22rdstrguy,
Welcome to RRR.

I like your line of thinking and applaud your efforts. After all, I'm making headlight bezels (for my truck) out of 6x9 speaker grills...How "CHEAP" is that.

Glad you found us.

Welcome to RRR 22rdstguy. If you have not found them already, there's a couple of guys on here with really cool Dodge roadsters. They are "22dodge" and "24dodge". They will see your intro and speak up.

Doors Issue

I have been contemplating making the doors , but thought it would be more original by using ,wellll, Original doors! But they seem to be scarce up here amongst the igloos of Squamish B.C. Canada (south-west coast)well we'll see how it goes over the next little while, and I'll put up some pics and a little info hopefully over the weekend.
Chow for now gotta split ,K.

Re intro....warning long...better part in bold

Reintroduction is in order. I actually forgot I had joined this site and promised pics. Well here is why and an update ,joined in Nov.07, I was still gathering parts to do a '70s style modified roadster and redoing my Triumph chop when on June 2/08 I was injured at work and had to wait for clavical to heel before they could perform surgery. On Dec.8/08. I had 3 hrs. of surgery, they were not promising anything but no pain in my future. Then started 4 day a week physio on Jan.20/09 and still am doing 4 days a week, slowly getting more use of my arm. So that is my tale of woe(sorry for the high pitched whining sound). So now onto the project, I now have changed direction to wanting to build a more nostalgic car. What I have is: the '22 body(finally got connected to a set of doors), F/Glass '32 grill shell, built a frame in '06, '63 Buick 215(original low miles) and a 231 turbo system that I may stuff on it, 200r4 trans, '35 Ford front axle with split wishbones, '39 spindles, '47 Ford 1/2 ton brakes, corvair box and column, old school steel bucket seats and I mean really from an old school and a '85 Jag rear diff. that I may or may not use, not really traditional enough. I also may be able to get a '62 348 or 409 Chevy motor not sure what size yet and it is in great running condition from a 1 1/2 ton dump truck for pcket change! Hope to get at it this year!

W/55, that is one sweet wrecker-rod you have. I have a soft spot for tow trucks, my dad and a friend of his had the local scrapyard in the mid '60s and they used a '55 Diamond T with a twin boom Holmes deck. I also had concidered this route.....
