Here are some pictures of my newest project. After drooling at the Goodguys show last weekend, I couldn't pass this up. It's a 1946 Dodge Country Sedan with the batwing hood and suicide doors. It has the original Flathead 6 and the fluid drive transmission. Only thing the deal was lacking was a title. If anyone knows the particulars on obtaining a title for something like this, please let me know. I got the whole thing for $300. Will definitely be a lot of work, but I will still finish the Dart which will probably turn into my "parts runner". Here is a better picture of it as well.

Mopar guy I see. Cool car. Make sure you put a Small Block LA engine in that Dodge! :D
I have a 340 in my 71 Challenger...great engine.

Try Broadway Title http://www.broadwaytitle.com/index.htm . I used them to get a title for my 1951 Ford F1 truck. It was painless, cheap and convienient and they didn't ask question about the paper work at the DMV. Basically what you do is sell them your car and buy it back from a dealer but no $$ is exchanged. They send you back a Bill of Sale from the dealer, a current registration in the dealers name and a letter from the State of Alabama stating they are a no title state and no title is required for vehicles older than 1974.

Good luck.

Thanks for the title info DMW, that looks like it will be the easiest route for sure!!! I already have the original 318 rebuilt and back in the Dart, I hope to use the original flathead 6 in the 1946 Dodge, but it is yet to be seen how far gone it is. Here's a few pics of the Dart. I already know what someone is going to say about the old 2-barrel carb, but we all know gas prices are going up, not to mention, it came with the car and works perfect!!!!!!:D:D
