Newbie with a 51 F1 cab....

Where on the cab? The VIN is on the back of the glovebox door and on the top of the pass. side of the frame (which I assume you don't have because you just have the cab, right?).

Mine stars out "F1H1"
F1=Ford 1/2 ton
H=226 engine
1=1951

Then the serial number follows that (can't remember it off the top of my head) and the number that designates which plant it was made at.

I think you have the wrong number...


EDIT: Whoa, just looking at your pictures because they didn't work for me when I checked on this before. Your F-1 badge in front of the driver's side door and your gauges scream '48-'50. You have a "monkey face", not a "bucktooth"...

lol i dont have the glove box door. this is a pic (not great i know) of the plate on the passenger side of the firewall (motor side)
