Hello fokes

My name is Tony, but have gone by Tudorp for years. My screen name comes from my two loves. Ford Model A Tudor, and the Plymouth P15. I have been a hot rodder for many years, but over the past 10 years I have not been able to enjoy the hobby as I did in the past. I became disabled from an accident and have not been able to build, and work on my cars for several years. I have had and built several over the years, and have always had a huge love for home built hot rods. Never been into Billet, and all the shiny show cars, but have loved Rat Rods way before they were considered cool.

Anyway, my current car, which my teenage daughter has laid claims on since she was 2 is a 1948 Plymouth P15, 2 door sedan. I has suffered due to being in the garage for about 8 years due to my disability. I want to get it back on the road for my daughter to have the coolest car in high school. She is only 13 now, and really loves this P15, and can't wait to get behind the wheel.

Anyway. I have been out of the loop for several years, and happy to get back in it. I hope I am accepted back.

See ya on the forums.

Tudor

Ok.. You asked for it. Here is my P15, then a few of my favorites over the years.

This is my P15 several years ago.

And this was my 49 GMC. This one was pretty scary. I built this one running about 400hp, mustang II front end, rear was out of a trans am w/ 373 gears. TH350 built with B&M parts, & hardened sprag. Was tough as any TH400 running. I have some of my motor just after I built it. I will try and find those, but it was a 350 4BM, flat top 10:1, 380/480 comp cam, rollers, 202 vette heads. yadda yadda. Ran like a scalded cat, and was kinda scary, lol

This was my wife's 31 coupe. Original paint on this car.

And one of my all time favs. This was my first model A, a 29 closed cab. Looked like hell, but ran like heaven.

You musta figured out the pictures. I can see 'em. Some great rides. Love that 29 A! Looks like it was a fun little truck.

yup..

yeah, got it worked out.

The 29 closed cab was one of my favs too. Had a Model B motor with a C high compression head. Fun as heck to drive, and would spin the thin rubbers right off the wheels if ya stayed on it, lol. Got lots of looks from disgust to WTF to "that runs?" to smiles and thumbs up. hahhah.. The only problem is as far as I was concerned, it was a one seater, because I am a big guy at 6'5" and at that time weighed about 400 lbs. I filled that little cab to overflowing.

And I found a bunch of pics of the 350 SBC I built to put in the 49 GMC. This was really my last high performace build really. It put out about 400 hp. This was a pic just after I put it in the GMC. I loved this motor, and was really proud of it. It ran like a scalded cat, but at idle had the coolest low tone soft rumble. But, screamed like a freaking lion when the tach hit 2800 rpm.

And just after being set between the rails. In this pic, you can kinda see the MII front end graft.

Yup

Welcome, P15 looks great- still run the old flat head 6?[cl

Yup, the P15 still sports the Flat 6, but it isn't the stock motor to the car. Pretty much the same tho, but a later 1957 (better motor). The 57 flat is out of a 1957 Dodge Military truck. Runs like a swiss watch, but I haven't started the car in about 3 years so I need to be sure it is well oiled, and tinker with it to start it in Spring.

Here's the Flat

The motor in the P15 is from a 57 Dodge Military truck

And this was the last time I took her out a few years ago.
