Nostalgia Drags in Ontario Canada PICS

This was a couple weeks ago in Grand Bend,Ontario.Had a lot of cool stuff.The first few are of a dragster,supposedly the first in Canada,with a Ranger aircraft engine.Just thought it was pretty cool.

And some more,some are not that great because those dragstrip guys are always in the way.The Tennessee Shaker is very cool,guy that brought it up here lives very close to me.Impala with a 427 and hillborn injection.Just great to see it race.

Great pics! How many cars would you say were there?

I think about 150 or so with the car show ones.Was supposed to be the biggest one in Canada.

That big airplane 6 banger is one awesome piece, did it make a pass? Must have had a wicked sound.

No unfortunatly it was just for show,never ran any,but that would have been awesome.

I had actually just read the coverage of that in Old Auto's this morning. Wish I could have made it out (seem to be saying that alot this year...).

Did you head down to London (St. Thomas) for this past weekends Ontario Nastalgia Drags?

I had actually just read the coverage of that in Old Auto's this morning. Wish I could have made it out (seem to be saying that alot this year...).

Yeah, at least 150! I was there as well, helping a friend who was running in the Hemi crowd.......(but I liked the gassers WAY better!)

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh, or I won't get invited back again!

Keep an eye out for future ONDR events - they are fantastic!
