[42chevy]

These are my cars. The fastback is my $400 '42 chevy aerosedan with a '74 Nova front clip and rear end. It has an Olds 350/400 combo, I rewired it and converted it to 12 volt and it is a driver. The '53 Ford truck has a '79 Firebird front clip and a 70's Chevy truck rear end. It is a Chevy 305/ 350 combo and also rewired to 12 volt. It is close to a driver again just some fabbing left to do. The '57 I have had for 20 years and it is a driver. It has a 327 with a saginaw 4 speed, it is pretty quick and fun to drive. The major project is a '5. Just thought I would share some of my junk,6 Buick Special , slow progress on it. Have new floors almost done and it will have an Olds 350/400 combo.I thought I would share some pics of my junk, enjoy and thanks.

Thanks. when I bought it I did not know they made Chevy's in '42 so I had to see pics to believe them. I love the grille also it is unique. I bought 2 of the '42 sedans for $400 total, one is to be my 12 year old daughters first car. I am slowly collecting parts for it. Both of the '42s had all the glass and the guy took payments on the $400 since I am a poor boy. I found a front clip with perfect inner fenders and radiator support , rough fenders but was free an old abandoned wreck on public lands. Most of the car was in the ditch and I was able to take the dash out of it also which was missing in my daughter's car. Thanks for the reply.

Yes, we got about 7 more inches of snow Friday. I want to become a snow bird I think. Thanks for checking my bcars out.
