:confused:ok guys i been lookin around and have yet found a answer! heres the question,, i am running a 53 flat head!!! which ran a pressurized radiator,, but the radiator is a 48, flat head rad, which is none pressurized,, what radiator cap should i run and if it should have to be a presure cap how many pounds,, i have sen them from 2 - 4 lbs! ok guru's what do ya know?

I'm not an expert on this but I would run a pressureized cap. That being said, I would make it a low pressure cap. I think you would be asking too much of the non pressurized radiator to use a cap with higher pressure and would be asking for leaks. I would stay in the 2 to 4 pound range.

Gastrick,
Around here, you are an expert.....:D

2-4 pounds should not kill the non-press. radiator....

I agree... low pressure. Shouldn't take too long to find out if that is wrong! :D
