Radiator Question

After putting a new radiator in the bed of my 46 International and messing with it for 2 months now it is still erratic and overheating, my question is, after looking it over very close I think i can put the original radiator back in it, would have to modify and cut away a few pieces of metal but i think it will fit, Will the old radiator work??? would i have to get it rebuilt to work on a 350?? any comments would help..........this is about to drive me nuts, Thank Bill

I presume you are useing an electric fan for the rad in the bed of your truck?

Yes, i have two electric fans

were is the exhaust/Muffler in relation too the return line from your radiator

There was a thread on this very subject not long ago. I can't remember the name of it but search for "rear mounted radiator".
