Anybody out there replaced the wood in a 34 chev? How did you go about it and what did you use? PICS? I need to get a game plan on what to use and where to start.

Do you want to use wood or steel? I'm currently replacing wood in my '30 Chevy with steel. For most of it (what I've done so far) I've used the wood pieces as a pattern. The body once released from the wood developed a mind of it's own but lining it back up has not been too difficult... so far.

If you haven't seen it already, search in the Builds section for my 34 Cadillac build, I gutted the entire body and replaced the wood with steel. I won't say it's easy, cause it's not, but the result is a solid car. Being of the GM family, the Caddy is very similar to your 34 Chevy, just larger. Hopefully you can pick up some ideas or tips from it..
