Resistor

If I'm fully rewiring my rig do I still need a resistor for the heater motor and windshield wipers? Or how about the switches...they need to be upgraded? It's a '48 KB-2 electronic ignition.

I'm going to take a guess and say yes, you'll still need the resistors. They're probably there to slow down the motors. As for the switches, they should be OK as long as they aren't corroded, etc.

I am pretty sure that an old "Binder" like that would have vacuum wipers!

It's the green diamond 214. My parts truck had factory electric also.
