Spring perch bolts(for monting front axle)

Where are you guys getting these I no speedway carrys them but holly buckets 50 bucks for a 2 bolts. Wow[S

Are you talking about for a suicide front end ? If so, I just make a bottom plate out of 3/16 or 1/4 inch steel and run 4 grade 8 bolts and nuts down through the 4 holes.

I am talking about the ones that u have pictured. The one that mount the bones to the axle.

What axle are you using? I might have an original set from a 37 laying around if I can find them.

What Don said is correct , also note in my pic , that because I guessed wrong my frame was too low in front , so instead of cutting the perch off and relocating it I used a piece of box tubing and made a spacer thereby raising my frame to the correct height . The spring pack doesn't know it is under a spacer or the perch .

Oh, I'm sorry, I read your question wrong, I thought you said " U Bolts."

For the ones you asked about I usually buy the smooth top ones So Cal, Speedway, and others sell, but I have also cut the tops off of originals and used those on a suicide front end.
