Here's 2 pics of what's left of a 67 GTX after hitting an SUV. Both drivers only had minor injuries.:confused:

Looks like somebody used "all new" fasteners when they did the restoration. .....and they were ****** chineese grade 3 bolts.

That car should have wadded up, not blow apart.
 
Wow that not the first time I seen a Mopar come apart like that in a crash.

Years ago not far from my house a bunch of kids were killed when they hit a pole. The main body of the car was still at the pole and the front end was about 200 yards down the street and the engine and trans was in the yard across the street from were they hit the pole.

The car was a 70 Challenger.
 
Must be a mopar thing...... Thats why I drive a ford!! :D:D

It was a chevy thing. The car body they crashed into the bulldozer was a Camero.
BUT, those old unibody mopars were pretty weak. I remember a certain stickshift GTX that had a one onch gap open up above the passenger side window in first and second. As cool as they were, they were really junky bodys.
