When I came into work a guy asked me to rattle off a few things I could remember about things when I was younger he and I have done this often over the years he is much older than me but I always seem to find something he has forgot about. Here's a few things to state it off

Iron on decals for shirts
Its sugar crisp not golden crisp
Pop in ten cent returnable bottle (hunted them all the time when I was a kid)
Watching m.a.s.h. dukes of hazard and b.j.and the bear
Our microwave had a knob and went ding mom was so happy when we got it she cryed and we were told not to stand to close cuz we would glow in the dark (didn't work)
Shreaded weat was big square not little frosted ones

You must be one of those young guys.

Black and white tv, with rabbit ears on top, and a couple of big dials on the front. Rawhide, seemed to be the only show that was ever on. (1959-65, I looked it up)
Coke bottles had the name of the town they were bottled in on the bottom.
Another couple of drinks I remeber was RC cola, and Chocolate Soldiers. Oh, and Orange Crush, and Nehi Grape.
We got our microwave, and cooked water in a paper cup.
cerial; post toasties, grape nuts, and corn flakes because that is what Jethro ate.
