I was browsing youtube and came upon this video that I was going to click off of at first because I couldnt hear the engine running....but then I started to listen to what he was saying and it turned out to be a guy with a great idea.

not a bad idea to have something like a poker run with the different vehicles pre-register and then you can have the donators take a ride in the vehicles. Maybe swap the rides at each stop. hell, this has me thinking. i am going to get in touch with one of the locals around here that puts on a lot of the shows and i think we can make it happen here in Orlando.

Great idea , only drawback is the liability issue . Most RR type ins is low buck with out a lot of perks . A crash could take all you have in todays sue crazy world . Sad but true .

i had been thinking of throwing together a show for some time now and was going to make it a fundraiser for (not sure yet which one) charity. This would make a lot more sense to me than to just have a show and shine with trophies. that has been done way too many times and at this point a lot of the same people have been winning. i think this idea would work a little better, if the driver/owners would be up for it.

as far as liability, that is ALWAYS an issue, but in a case like this i would think that the drivers arent going to be doing anything off the wall. signing a release would definitely be needed and i would most likely get a police escort (unless i go the way of a poker run)

My good friend once had his 28 pickup and was giving a ride to an 85 year old woman. She hardly said a word. Then he came up behind a rumbleseat coupe and she said "I lost my virginity in the rumble seat of a Model A coupe...best night of my life". And then never said another word all the way back. I don't think he did either.
