I am going to be putting in a new cam...the other one lobes were circles...anyways I was wandering which valve springs would be good with the cam im thinking about. I was also wanting to know if these roller rocker arms would work with everything... here are the descriptions

The cam:
Lunati Voodoo Hydraulic Flat Tappet (part number: 10120702LK)
Chevy Small Block 262-400
Lift: .468"/.489"
Duration: 262 Deg/268 Deg
LSA: 112 Deg
RPM Range: 1400-5800

The rocker arms:
Summit Racing Stamped Steel Roller Tip Rocker Arms(part number:SUM-141506)
Rocker Arms, Stud Mount, Rolle Tip, Stamped Steel, 1.5 Ratio, Fits 3/8 in. Stud, Chevy Small Block

The engine is a mid 60's 283...but it has early to mid 80's 305 heads i believe. Any help would be much appreciated.. Any tips or suggestions welcomed. Im just having trouble trying to match vavle springs to the cam...Im wanting not to spend too much my budget is very very limited but will look at alternatives.

Thanks again,

Thomas[;)

sorry about the long post

This is the recommended spring for the cam you're talking about.
Lunati Springs: 73943-16
Installed Height (in): 1.750 in.
Seat Pressure at Installed Height (lbs): 108 lbs.
Open Height (in): 1.250 in.
Open Pressure (lbs): 339 lbs.
For the $89 I'd be safe and buy the springs made for it. (recommended)
You can get springs and hope they work. (not recommended)

on small cams like that, i like the 350 horse 350 springs. there go and strong and don't pull your rocker studs out. you don't have to cut the heads either, like you have to do with some aftermarket springs.
