Thanks guys. Yep, Dan is pretty stoked about building this one. I think he is a little burned out on the rpu because it has taken so long to get it finished. At least he is now talking about just getting it done, even if it is in flat paint so he can start on the '49.
He scored one tudor door on Ebay, which turned out to be a strange story. The guy had two doors, but only listed one. Dan exchanged emails with him and the guy said the winner could buy a second door at the same price. Dan bid and won, but now on Ebay you have to indicate how many of an item you wish to purchase, so he didn't know that and some other guy also won and got the other door. Ebay is making some goofy changes that are really strange, evidently the new CEO there is trying to take it a different direction.
But at least he has one good door coming so he can start to convert the car to a chopped tudor. I'm trying to keep him focused on finishing up the roadster, but he keeps staring at the '49 when we are at the shop.
