I saw this Dodge a couple years ago and really liked it. If plans fall into place this is how i would build the Chevy pictured above.

Sorry about the "winter" reference, Todd. Enjoy your summer.:D

After almost trading her off, i decided to start some body work. Took a scrap piece of 16 gauge steel, plasma cutter, grinder, torch and hammer, made her a full rocker panel. Welded the gas door shut and started fiberglassing. I don't want to brag on myself but i think I'm doing a great job. I'm doing it differently this time. I'm actually taking my time to get it right this time.

OH come on "stick" we all love doing things more than once. My wife calls me third time soltz. [S
The car is looking great, keep at it [;)

We got a deal on used power poles to build a pole barn with. Guy said they averaged about 800 lbs apiece. BullCACA!!! We get there to haul 12 of them off and jeez louise. We thought we could get them in one evening. Trip to my place from where the poles are is only 15 miles. Well we got 6 the first night and 6 more the next. I believe some of these weigh closer to 1500 lbs. Butts are close to 18-24 in. range and some of the poles are 26 feet long...another scary ride,...twice. To haul any others off the pile, a chainsaw would have to be used to make them ride anything we have to haul them on. One things for sure, 4-5 ft in the ground will withstand any wind forces we get and they'll be there when our ancestors pass.

Got the quarter done and half way with the rocker

Spent part of Sunday figuring out how to post pics without Photobucket. And, I did it!!!

Also, a very nice couple bought the Reo. He didn't even test drive it. Just hopped in and drove it 40 miles home. I didn't want to part with it but at my age and in my condition I need hot rods that are easier to get in and out of and with better all around visibility. It was a risk changing lanes in that thing.

Yea for Bob. No more photobucket. [cl
Congrats on the sale. They should love all the attention they will get driving it.

I feel your pain when it comes to cars that don't fit. Same here.

The 350 I'm using to slam in my PU smoked at startup when I pulled it outta the Nova. I was installing new valve guide seals & when I got to the 3rd cylinder from the front on each side... the valve guide was loose so I pulled the heads off & took them to my fav engine rebuilder/machinist today for a fresh valve job. Turnaround... 2 days! Can't beat that!!! [cl
