What year of a S-10 frame ?

What year are most guys using now-a-days. I have a 52 truck and I'm wanting to run fenders, sorta a phantom look , just needing some ideas

most guys run the 84-93 s10 2WD frames. altough all the way up to 02 the 2wd are just about the same. Try and find an extended cab frame. it will give you just about the right length.

I think the S10 chassis are all pretty much the same but the square body S10s (80 to early 90's) are cheaper to find usually. I used a 1988 s10 under my 48 chevy truck. You need to find a long bed regular cab to make it easiest since the wheel base is correct for the 1/2 ton AD trucks but you can make the others work if you find a bargain on a short bed or extended cab s10. Mine was a short bed so I had to do some work to correct the wheelbase.
