Wheel modifications needed.

I have some crown vic 17" steel wheels I want to have the centers cut out and the back spacing changed. Can anybody suggest a shop that does this? I'm in the midwest near Louisville,KY.

There's a place in Fortville (N.E. of Indy). If I remember it's called Indy Custom Wheel. Used them years ago , early 90's, with good results. Might give them a shout.

Have you considered doing them yourself? its not hard if you can weld.

It may come to that. The welding is no problem. I just want them to spin nice and true and don't know if I can achive that.

And if they dont,,,,,,, its metal,,,, do it again till its right.

The trick is welding slowly and evenly around the rim,
to try and keep them from drawing to one side!!
I've done many, not too hard but time consuming!!
