I know, i know, finish the truck :p. I've been meaning to work on the battery box and cutoff solinoid install for a while but i didn't want to cut holes in my car with all the bad weather. Great weather this weekend though, so I did it. Cut out the humps for the original battery hardware and started glassing it back up. the fumes from the fiberglass gave me a headache :(. something tells me i'll be doing some serious sanding tomorrow as well :p, my technique is not the best.

Ive got a vette too, 74 convert, almost finished with it, though I might sell and but a sedan project for a family rod, but Ive had it for a long time and have gotten kind of attatched, when I did the glass work I think I hated the itchiness of the glass worse than the smell

Get yourself some pantyhose. :D If you rub it over the areas where you have glass slivvers it will pull them out. I had heard about this trick for years, and when I was doing my T I tried it............darned if it doesn't work.

The little lady might not be real happy about you raiding her underwear drawer and suspect you might be a little strange, but at least you won't be itching. :D:D I'm single now, so if you think I didn't feel a little goofy buying a pair at the grocery store....................

Hmmm! I used rubber gloves so I never ran into that problem. Also the smell didn't bother me, but I was young at the time (25 yr). Since it was my first time, I took it real slow and careful.
