How hard is it to pull a leaf out to lower?Sorry for all the question's but im realy new to classic car's.I was planning on heating up spring's in the front and pulling a leaf from the rear.[P

216 or 235 ?

The differance is that the 216 has the valve cover bolts on top and the 235 has the 1/4 inch stovebolt on the side . The 216 will have a 30 pound oil presssure gauge where the 235 has a 60 pound one.

Grunt I would not heat the front springs it rides bad, take them out and cut a coil off. On the rear be sure to use a big C clamp or two on the spring they go everywhere Be careful.

I am off work till sunday night, i found a guy in iola ks that has 4- 3in white wall coker tires on universal chevy /ford rim's he asking 400.00 for the set.But im kind of torn on to buy the paint and fuel pump and water pump first.BUT anywho, i got my bech seat installed yester day also it came from a dodge caravan and i took the bracket's from my old seat and mounted to the new seat, it lined up perfect lol here are some more pic's

Wrong! The pre-55 sixes all had the two bolt covers. No pressure engines before '53.
