This is how the radiator is installed. I purposely went with the wrong radiator(necks are on oppisite sides then regular chevy radiator) so it will have that custom look. I needed some 1 1/2" tubing so i used my sons grinding rail for his skateboard. He's into cars now anyway! Had a problem with no circulation so i installed a back flush T on the heater hose to burp the air out. Now it works very well, absolutly no over heating at all.

Some interior shots. The floor is18 guage sheet metal. Thin??? Yes, but after i made the floor, the tranny needed some work, so the floor head to come out. After the tranny and t case reinstalled, i bent some channels out of sheet metal and put under the floor. Light weight and strong. When i find pics. i'll post them. The seat is foam rubber (4") and an old tonneau cover. Cut to size and shape, sew the corners (by hand, needle and thread). Rap around foam and plywood, then staple to board. My shifter is carrying the hillbilly farmer theme. A hoe, made of 1/8" plate, 1/4 round rod and 1/2" rod.

For security, i used the original semi steering wheel and rapped it with barbed wire. I have a quick release hub on colomn, so i can switch wheels.

Homemade mirrors

This is how I made the mirrors. Bend 1/2" pipe to a 90. Then bend again to almost a 90. Cut 4 pieces of 1" angle iron 2 1/2" long. Smash the ends of the pipe to flat. I had to pound the angle to open them a little. Drill and bolt them on. The mirror can be losened up to rotate mirrors out to see around the trailor.

Shovel the gas to it.

Here is my gas pedal. Still carrying the farmer theme. It works great. I used an old flower garden shovel made in the 40s, a piece of 3/32" cable, a 3/8" bolt 3" long and a stick (Iron wood).

Something to share.

My fuel tank, obveous air compresser. I was going to leave all the hardware on the compresser,wheels,motor/pump and handle. But i couldn't see out my rear window. Used some old rough sawn lumber for deck and bed rails for edgeing. The rest of the pics. is a color tour i went on a couple of days ago, Enjoy.

Diggin' the truck but you should round the corners of that front bumper to go with the curves of the truck a little bit just my opinion :) otherwise the truck is badass!!!!

It means this thread is awesome. I like seeing the pictures of how you have done the fabrication. It gives me education & inspiration.
