I originally was going to do an FE motor I was looking 352 or 390, but parts are expensive on them. Recently I came across a 302 and c4 tranny for free, so i'm gonna go with the small block idea and just beef up the motor.

Hey guys, does anyone know if a 302 out of a '69 torinio would bolt right up in a '55 fairlane with a 272 in it?

Thanks guys I went and got some marvel and poured it the cylinder. To answer your question it's a 272ci y block.

The engine in my car hasn't ran in about 30 years. I got it running but the 4th cylinder isn't firing and keeps fouling out the plug. I believe the rings are stuck I heard that was an additive I could put in the gas tank to help free the rings up, but I don't name the name of it.

I love it when people think that there stock euro car can take anything. My personal favorites are rice burning hondas or toyotas with a 3 foot wing on it.

Alright here it is my '66 Ford Mustang 289ci w/c4 tranny. Edelbrock performer rpm intake and 4 barrel edelbrock 650cfm carb. Has shorty headers and upgraded to electronic ignition.

what are you putting over it? make sure you put a sound dampener over the metal. Actually if you go the tech page on here there is a good thread about a cheap alternative to dynamat.
